Each packet of Gabe's Original Dressing & Marinade and Mama's Mediterranean Spices is filled with more than 55 years of Gabe's Gourmet Goodness with every bite, perfectly blended inside. We have poured all of our energy into making these two versatile spices as the signature products for our customers to enjoy. 

Our parents created Gabe’s Gourmet Foods more than 55 years ago in 1968 in Walla Walla, WA. Dad is the Gabe, and Mom was the Mama. What started as a unique gift for family and friends turned into a five decade entrepreneurial journey. Using their expertise as former grocery mercantile store owners and Mediterranean culinary wizards, our parents created a proprietary spice blend first for Gabe’s Original Dressing in 1968, then Mama’s Mediterranean Spices in 1994.

With the help of food scientists and spice experts, they refined the liquid recipes into dry spice mixes in 1998 so that customers and chefs could use preferred oils and vinegars of choice to blend the dry spices into liquid dressing and marinade for use on their own beloved recipes and foods. The dressing and marinade taste vastly different depending on the combination of oil and vinegar selected (rest easy; all combinations are delicious!). The curated combination of spices is the secret ingredient!  

No matter what cuisine or recipe - or breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner, supper, appetizers or a midnight snack - these spices will enhance the finished product!
